Meet The Owner
Bobbi – Animals have always been part of my life and have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Whilst working as a kennel maid, I quickly realised my passion of working with dogs. This put me on the journey of becoming a certified trainer and behaviourist, with the aim of inspiring dog owners to reach their full potential as a team.
When I am not working, studying or walking/training my own dogs, I can be found paddle boarding, dancing, reading, or learning something new!
BR Canine Academy began in 2015 (known as Lifeline Dogs) and supports owners with their dogs behaviour and training in one to one sessions, group training classes and community events.
With the aim of being an inclusive service, Bobbi supports a wide range of dogs and their owners, delivering training sessions both in person and online, dependent on the individual needs. She also practises British Sign Language, with the intention of developing this skill to fully support owners in the deaf community.
Over 7 years, a community of dog owners has been created to support each other in reaching training goals, as well as being an opportunity to get to know like-minded individuals. In community events, everyone supports one another in navigating any challenges when training and modifying behaviour. These events take place in public areas to provide real life opportunities of developing good behaviours, with the guidance of a trainer, as well as providing your dog new environments to explore with their friends.
Activities that are both rewarding for both dog and owner are also organised to strengthen relationships and ensure that everyone has the opportunity of trying something new and having fun.
