Meet The Owner

Jay Doyle is the founder of Earthly Rebels. A love of animals and nature inspired Jay to create a cruelty-free range of natural soaps and skincare using homegrown and foraged plants. She originally started out as Mumbles Soap Co., way back in 2009. In 2021 she decided that it didn’t feel enough to only make and sell products; she wanted to teach others to make their own. And so the idea for Earthly Rebels was born.

Our Business

All Earthly Rebels’ products are handcrafted in small batches, in Jay’s small home-based studio in Swansea. All ingredients are organically grown in Jay’s apothecary garden, or sustainably sourced from growers and suppliers with transparent supply chains and fair trade policies, and a clear ethical stance on their environmental impact. The range is gradually expanding into self-care products, with a line of home therapies such as coastal-inspired room fragrances and natural sleep aids.

Jay also runs maker workshops and demonstrations across the city, helping people of all ages and aspirations develop the skills and confidence they need to grow and make their own natural products at home.
